CEO & Senior Broker
Lance commenced his career in the banking and finance industry in 1975. In 1986, he recognised a gap in the market and started Finance Brokers Tasmania – the first finance brokerage in Tasmania.
After 36 years, it is safe to say that Lance has gained valuable experience, a deep understanding of the industry and most importantly, he still loves what he does.
His knowledge and passion for his work, along with the strong relationships he has built with many lenders ensures his clients get the best financial deal to meet their individual needs.
Lance has in-depth knowledge of complex commercial deals, including buying and selling businesses, commercial real estate acquisition, self-managed super funds and complex plant and equipment finance with cash flow and tax-effective structures.
It’s not just the team at Finance Brokers who love Lance. In May 2021, Lance was awarded the VOW Financial National Award for Best Valued Broker. This award is judged on a wide range of criteria, including loan volumes, quality of applications, contributions to the group and assisting other members.
When not in the office, you’ll find Lance supporting local football and cricket teams, barracking for the Hawks, cycling, spending time with his kids and grandkids, playing the occasional game of golf and travelling (when his schedule allows it!).

Gary has been in the finance industry for over 50 years and is one of our most experience brokers having joined the Finance Brokers team in 1996.
Gary’s phone is never off, and he is the first to admit that he works too much. He loves what he does and still enjoys the challenge of getting funding approved and making someone’s dream a reality.
Through his years of experience, Gary has the expertise and qualifications in all forms of lending but specialises in business and commercial loans.

Gary is car mad, always watching the supercar and racing events. He walks regularly to keep fit but balances that with great food and wine and, of an evening, lets his brain switch off by watching a movie after a busy day in the office.
